  1. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE DEMO?

WriteNow® 3.0 TestDrive is a full working version of the WriteNow 3.0 retail package, with the exception that documents printed with WriteNow 3.0 TestDrive will have a message printed at the top and bottom of each page stating that the document was created with WriteNow TestDrive. Included with the application is:
  4. •  A 12 minute tutorial called “QuickTour” that will step you through the basics of WriteNow 3.0.
  5. •  An example document called “A QuickTour Example” that will be used in the tutorial.
  6. •  A HyperCard introduction to WriteNow 3.0.
  7. •  The rest of the complete WriteNow 3.0 package including: WriteNow Help; WriteNow’s 135,000-Word Dictionary; WriteNow’s 1.4 Million-Word WordMaster™ Thesaurus DA; file filters for complete Microsoft® Word, Microsoft Works and MacWrite® II compatibility; and a folder of sample documents.

  10. HOW TO LAUNCH THE DEMO

  12. Double-click the WRITENOW TESTDRIVE! icon in the “Application Demo CD” to open the WRITENOW TESTDRIVE! folder.

  14. You should first print out a copy of the QuickTour tutorial by selecting the “• Print Me! QuickTour •” file icon and choosing “Print” from the File menu. Click the “Accept” button if you agree to TestDrive’s license agreement. Then follow the directions in the “Before You Begin” section.

If you don’t have access to a printer, first choose “Select All” from the “Edit” menu and copy the entire contents of the WriteNow TestDrive! folder to your hard disk. Double-click the “• Print Me! QuickTour •” file icon to launch WriteNow 3.0 TestDrive. Click the “Accept” button if you agree to TestDrive’s license agreement. You can then go directly to Section #1 on page 2. You will be able to switch back and forth between the “• Print Me! QuickTour •” tutorial and “A QuickTour Example” by choosing the appropriate name from the “View” menu.
